One of their most daring tales to date - perfect for Halloween

When it comes walking that fine line between suggestively risque and erotically explicit, there are few authors with a stronger grasp on the story than Claire Bear and Courtney Captisa. While they lean a bit more towards the erotic side with Made Maidenly: Halloween French Maid Sissy, making it one of their most daring tales to date, they still stop just shy of revealing all.

There is a very good reason that Halloween is the official crossdresser holiday, loved as much by those who crave that one day of social acceptance as it is by those who desire to take advantage of that craving. There is a little bit of both here, with Ross reluctantly allowing his neighbor to feminize him, and with Abby . . . well, taking a little more delight in his humiliation than might be expected. The scenes of feminization are well done (as always), especially with Ross being forced to publicly model some of the sluttier costumes available.

It is at Zara's party, however, where Claire & Courtney really get a chance to show their stuff. There's some nice exhibitionism here, even more humiliation, and a friendship that hides the eventual threat of exposure. The story does take a twist in the latter half, going to a darker place than to which fans might be accustomed, but I loved the way all the themes came together.

Depending on who you are, Made Maidenly can be a nightmare or a dream come true, but regardless it is a fun story that is perfect for the season.

Feminization, kidnapping and slavery.

This book starts out like so many sweet feminization stories, with the petite boy being reluctantly coaxed into a feminine costume and even starting to enjoy it, but quickly turns dark.
What started as an amusing party turns into a not so erotic tale of kidnapping, torture, and mental rape.

Women might enjoy this book, especially if they imagine someone who mistreated them as the maid.

This might also appeal to extremely submissive cross dressers. Even transgender women will find parts of this story disturbing and uncomfortable.

This story of a guy who is invited to a Halloween party by a hot girl. The catch is his costume must be that of a French Maid .Once there Ross becomes the property of Zara who starts the process of turning him into a full time personal maid. There is no sex in this book just sissy transformation which is to bad .

Realign the Mind. Prepare for the Pursuit.

I like how your book begins with an explanation of duality along with a pointing toward nonduality and advice on how to pursue nonduality. You then assert that the pursuit is dependent on an understanding of the mind, thereby providing various ways to turn the mind toward its source, toward the nondual, along with some interesting and practical diversions along the way.

The reader will learn how to realign the mind through affirmations, visualizations, gratitude, desire, and positive thoughts. Practical gains from proper mental positioning include health, money, love, and inner peace. The purpose of this heightened mental awareness is something deeper than the practical, and you make that clear. The purpose of mental preparation is to make the pursuit of enlightenment feasible.

This book is a fine guide and reminder for people who are wandering in the garden of spiritual and mental delights and who intuit and need to pursue something deeper, known as source, God, soul, enlightenment, or nonduality. Readers will be pleased to see serious reference to some well-known, and not so well-known names: Edgar Cayce, John Van Auken, Rev. Simeon Stefanidakis, Andrew Cohen and Eckhart Tolle, among others.

I just finished reading your book and I was pleasantly surprised. Just like your other works, I thoroughly enjoyed the read. Turn Off The TV: Turn On Your Mind is filled with interesting ideas and spiritual principles.

I love the simplicity of your writing. The concepts are very easy to grasp, yet the wisdom they contain is profound.

After reading your works, I can tell that not only do you believe that spirituality is meant to be simple, but you practice it. Thank you for putting this information out there.

Turn on The Universe Within

Michele has a style of writing that is eloquent and seductive.
She has a keen intellect with an ability to take the most complex relationships between mind and universe, and make it simple and easy to understand. We all struggle with the fundamental questions, who are we-where are we-why are we?

Michele writes in this book:

""There is one thing I am becoming more and more aware about and that is belief. Anything that needs, as a fundamental assumption, a belief as its basis is flawed. The reason is just this: in order to ascertain that, we need something tangible like a fact, but the truth is that nothing holds up under the light of truth. There is no real knowledge or certainty of anything except that we exist. So any belief, while it's certainly permissible to ponder such things, is just conjecture, a belief, a wisp of smoke.I really love the way in which some ancient texts describe this: a silence; a stillness."

See how well she answered all those complex questions? As masterfully as the most complex writings of say, Spinoza or Hegel by comparison. This is a deceptively simple book, masterful in that it tames the complex and intimidating. I enjoyed reading this book immensely. Michele is one of those writers I will follow through the years, knowing as a reader with questions, I will never be dissapointed by her answers.

Spotlight on Hate Crimes!

Sadly, hate crimes have been part and parcel of life on earth since time immemorial. But if such crimes still plague us, at least more effort is being spent on combatting such outrages. Donald Altschiller's HATE CRIMES, A REFERENCE HANDBOOK presents a dispassionate, wide-ranging examination of the issue. A 2015 ABC-Clio release, this third edition of Altschiller's book is part of that publisher's CONTEMPORARY WORLD ISSUES series.

Altschiller's book divides his material into seven sections: Background and History; Problems, Controversies and Solutions; Perspectives; Profiles; Data and Documents; Resources for Further Research; and Chronology. The first section provides an overview of hate crime legislation and the reasons why such acts as the 1968 Civil Rights Act, 1994 Violence Against Women Act, 1996 Church Arson Prevention Act and 2007 Emmett Till Unsolved Civil Rights Crime Act were created along with relevant Supreme Court decisions, State-level hate crime laws, etc. The second section deals with recent hate crimes against selected groups, hate crime hoaxes, criticism/defense of hate crime laws, etc. The 'Perspectives' section presents a variety of opinions by different individuals on various aspects of the hate crime issue. Brief biographies of notable American experts on and organizations dealing with hate crimes, political extremism, racial bigotry, religious bigotry and human rights are profiled in section four. The next section provides documents and primary source information on hate crimes helpful to people researching the issue. It's complimented by the following section, an annotated bibliography of materials. A 1955-June 2015 chronology and a glossary complete the book.

In short, HATE CRIMES is a useful, informative and comprehensive guide to a troubling problem. Recommended.

Very Basic

This book provides a good, but very, very basic introduction to the software. Completely elementary. It just describes how the input and very basic analysis is done. If you are not a statistician and you need more explanations this book is not what you want. I would almost say it is not useful if you really want to use SPSS. Sorry but that's my honest opinion.

Compelling Study of Literary Effects

I'm a fiction writer and poet who rarely reads literary criticism. I'm of the generation that was brought up on the joy-killing exegeses of the new criticism. And the joy-killing post-structuralists debase art by abusing it in the service of other concerns. But Clune's book is essentially about literary aesthetics and the mechanisms of literary effects, which interest me and which I find to be a noble goal of literary scholarship. Unlike most works of literary scholarship these days, Clune's book is readable, compelling, impressive in its breadth and not overly bogged down by jargon.
